A source tells ABC7 Eyewitness News an officer and a suspect are both seriously injured.
Heavy police presence is centered near Lick Avenue and Goodyear Street.
A SWAT team and Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies are actively assisting San Jose police.
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan tells ABC7 Eyewitness News he is on his way to the hospital.
