An incoming Wrexham signing has been spotted outside the Racecourse Ground as he closes in on signing for Phil Parkinson’s side.

Wrexham have been busy in the summer transfer window, with Phil Parkinson being handed the tools to significantly bolster his squad for the challenge of the Championship.

Following three successive promotions, taking the Red Dragons from the National League to the Championship, Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have backed Parkinson with a war chest, giving him a sizeable budget to add proven quality to his squad.

After signing Kieffer Moore for £4m, as well as Lewis O’Brien for a sizeable £5m fee, Wrexham are set to bring in another forward for a whopping £10m.

As the likelihood of a deal increases, it looks as though Wrexham have got their man after he was spotted taking photos with supporters outside the Racecourse Ground.

After reports emerged that Nathan Broadhead was set to join Wrexham for £10m, the Ipswich Town forward has now been spotted outside the Racecourse Ground ahead of a move.

The Wrexham-linked striker then posed for a photo with one supporter, donning a full Red Dragons training kit, suggesting that a deal has been sealed for the Welsh international.

The signing of Broadhead from Ipswich Town is now imminent, provided that all loose ends have been tied and his medical has been passed.

Phil Parkinson has identified brilliant Kieffer Moore replacement after injury blow

Wrexham’s Championship opener against Southampton saw Phil Parkinson’s side put on a respectable performance, but new signing Kieffer Moore suffered an injury that could put him out for some time.

Whilst the extent of Moore’s injury is yet to be revealed, it is likely that he will be on the sidelines for some time, making Nathan Broadhead’s arrival very timely.

Just like Moore, Broadhead boasts vast Championship experience and quality that will make the former Sheffield United forward less of a miss at the Racecourse Ground.

It also brings up the likelihood that, once Moore returns from injury, the pair will rekindle their partnership that has been seen and worked on the national stage with Wales.

£10m is a hefty fee to spend on a fellow Championship forward, but it is clear that Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have bold ambitions for this season, and that is reflecting on the exciting summer transfer business.
