The former tour player-turned-YouTube golfer is suspended indefinitely from the PGA Tour for playing in a LIV Golf-hosted YouTube event. The tour told Bryan he’d be suspended if he played, but he did it anyway and has complained about it ever since.
Bryan has publicly spoken about his suspension from the tour and his desire to resolve the issue on many occasions since, but he says the tour has made no effort to make contact with the 36-year-old.
Instead, they’re focused on introducing a new match play format to the Tour Championship in 2028 to revolutionise their postseason. It’s a change that has been well received by fans and players, but Bryan shared his thoughts on the PGA Tour’s decision on social media.

Despite his issues with the PGA Tour, Bryan took to X to compliment PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp on the changes he’s making to the playoffs. But he added that he still hasn’t spoken with him about getting his tour card back.
He posted, “I am diggin all the changes. Rolapp is sharp….is he willing to have a conversation with me? No. Regardless, I respect the work he has done in such a short time.

“PS….he doesn’t owe me a conversation and I know that, so there is no need for Twitter trolls to chime in.”
He added that note to confirm he was joking about having a conversation with Rolapp, but a lot of truth is said in jest. Bryan has mentioned wanting a conversation with the PGA Tour enough times for us to know he wants this issue resolved.
However, it doesn’t seem like his suspension is set to be lifted any time soon.
