Duck King just launched as the second DLC character of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 3, and there’s a few special offers going around for the game right now.
Players who’ve never hopped on to the latest Fatal Fury can either do so for free or pretty close to it.
The catch with the free part, though, is it’s limited to only one platform.
That’s because Xbox is running a new Free Play Days event this weekend that includes City of the Wolves.
Until August 30, Xbox Series X|S owners can enjoy the fighting game at no charge and without a Game Pass subscription along with Control Ultimate Edition.
Those who do have Xbox Game Pass can play Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikers and ARK: Survival Ascended too.
Happy #FreePlayDays! Game Pass members can hop into Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker and ARK: Survival Ascended this weekend, while everyone can try out Control, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta:https://t.co/L4sNgMgSsx

This presumably only includes the Standard Edition of Fatal Fury without all of the DLC characters, but at least it offers a way to try out the game, which has been expanded upon since launching last year.
For those looking for a more permanent addition to their library, SNK is also offering Fatal Fury’s Standard Edition across all platforms for 50% off, which brings the price of entry down to just $10.
They’ve also put the Season 1 and Season 2 Passes on sale too, but not the more complete bundled editions.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves just received a new animation from Masami Obari as well to celebrate the launch of Duck King and Rick Strowd that includes a dance sequence for Mai Shiranui in a new costume.
