State police: Suspect drives through fence, strikes plane at Portsmouth International Airport
New Hampshire State Police confirmed to News 9 that a suspect has been detained after crashing a car into a plane at Portsmouth International Airport.
Officials say the 17-year-old Wyatt Seely was attempting to elude law enforcement before driving through a fence and striking a small, stationary plane that was unoccupied.
State Police say that Seely also hit a Kubota tractor before coming to a stop. Troopers arrested him and brought him to a local hospital to be evaluated. No other injuries were reported.
Seely is facing several charges including DWI, disobeying a police officer and reckless driving. He is scheduled to be arraigned in court in September.
