A man is arrested in Westmoreland County after a woman was found dead inside a home
WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. —
Pennsylvania State Police arrest a man after a woman was found dead inside a home in Westmoreland County on Sunday.
Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 reporter Felicity Taylor was there as State Police detectives escorted Jakob Michael Korber from Greensburg Barracks to the Westmoreland County Prison.

Troopers Steve Limani and Cliff Greenfield said in a joint post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that officials responded to a home on Herminie West Newton Road for an unresponsive female Sunday morning.
Officials said the woman was pronounced dead on the scene. The coroner identified the victim as Christin Hamilton, who neighbors said was Korber’s mother.
Following an all-day manhunt, Korber walked down Herminie West Newton Road toward the home and surrendered to police.
A woman who lives next-door told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that two younger children also live in the home.
