This is a developing story from KCHA/95.1 The Bull News. What we know: there was a large emergency response in the area of the railroad tracks that run adjacent to Riverside Cemetery in Charles City shortly after 8:30 PM Monday (Aug. 31). Agencies confirmed on scene include Charles City Police, Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol, plus Charles City Fire Rescue. Railroad officials were also to be on scene to investigate. By 9:30 PM, most agencies had left the scene, but some personnel remained on sight.

At one point, emergency responders were walking the railroad tracks with flashlights, but what transpired to illicit the massive emergency response is still unknown as of this posting.
