Ilias Kamardine’s long wait to get to Ole Miss is over.

The 6-foot-4, 180-pound native of Marseille, France, has been issued his travel Visa and will fly to the United States this weekend, per multiple sources. He is expected to arrive in Oxford on Sunday.

Kamardine, who had been waiting for his I-20 for to be completed and approved for much of the summer,  is expected to play a critical role in Ole Miss’ backcourt during the 2025-26, which begins Nov. 4. Kamardine played with JDA Dijon of the LNB Pro A league in France during the 2024-25 season, averaging 8 points in 18.2 minutes per game. He shot 43.5 percent from the floor and 39.8 percent from behind the 3-point line. That’s the same league San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama played in before heading to the NBA.
