Arthur Layne Lundeen had to be taken off an American Airlines flight Thursday night after he became disruptive and unruly. The flight that took off from Dallas was headed to Newark and had to be diverted to Baltimore.


TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – News 4 Tucson has confirmed a disruptive American Airlines passenger who was duct-taped to his seat and restrained with flexible handcuffs Thursday night is from Tucson.

The American Airlines flight was heading to Newark, New Jersey from Dallas-Fort Worth when a man became agitated.

A flight attendant attempted to calm the situation but the passenger, identified as Arthur Layne Lundeen got physical.

It is reported three passengers helped restrain the man with zipties.

The plane then made an emergency landing in Baltimore.
