That’s not the truth, Ellen. Nic Vansteenberghe from Love Island USA is clearing up the “snitches and rats” allegations from TikTok. On Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked the top two couples, Nic and Olandria Carthen and Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, who left the Villa too early, and they all said Jeremiah Brown, despite Nic being in the group of boys who voted him off the island. But Nic cleared up that he was not just following the leader, Ace Greene, as TikTok edits like to think. “I voted Austin off that night,” Nic clarified. He also set the record straight that he wasn’t just following Ace’s lead during the show. When asked directly by Cohen if Ace was the ringleader, he said, “I would love to see him as the Gru to my Minion, but I don’t think he’s Gru, no.”

Throughout the Villa, fans accused Ace of being the “ringleader” of the boys, especially when it came down to eliminating one of their fellow Islanders, Jeremiah. One edit used Morgan Freeman on a 21 Savage interlude called “Snitches and Rats” to call Nic out for allegedly voting off Jeremiah, as the episode didn’t show the cast discussing who they wanted to vote off, and they assumed that each vote was a unanimous decision. When Nick Viall showed Jeremiah the edit after he got eliminated and asked him if he saw it “any differently than America,” Jeremiah replied, “No, not at all. It honestly wasn’t heartbreaking but more like betrayal.” Maybe they can work it out on the remix.
