Man dead, 2 injured after Infiniti hit patrol car, crashed in Jessup, police say
JESSUP, Md. —
A man died and two others were injured overnight in a crash involving a car that struck a police vehicle in a hit-and-run, Howard County police said.
County police said a 2018 Infiniti Q60 struck a patrol car with an officer inside in the 7100 block of Montevideo Road in Jessup before fleeing.
Police said the officer pursued the car that ultimately crashed into a retaining wall about a mile away.
Police said a man died at the scene and two others were taken to Shock Trauma, where they are stable.
The Maryland Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division is investigating the fatal crash.
