Just yesterday, Capcom announced that Arjun’s gameplay trailer was set to go live today at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET. He’s the second DLC representative of Season 4 after Yasmine.

When Arjun was first revealed, we learned of his “extraordinary lung capacity.” It’s thanks to this that allows him access to his yogic breathing techniques. He’s also armed with unique Bare-knuckle Yoga techniques.

Arjun was originally a police office based in India. However, certain events have apparently led to him being accused for the murder of his colleague, which has resulted in him being on the run as he attempts to uncover the truth of the incident.

We’ve previously heard from Street Fighter 6 Director Takayuki Nakayama how the developers are really putting in an effort to make the Season 4 cast feel different from the rest of the roster.

“So, in terms of the fighting styles and what you can expect about their playstyles, we can say that they definitely feel unique and different from the existing roster,” said Nakayam in an interview with IGN.

Nakayama wasn’t willing to divulge too many details about Arjun, but he did mention that there would be a dancing element incorporated into Arjun’s fighting style within Street Fighter 6.

“Arjun is a very unique character that’s going to feel very different from everyone else. And we can’t go into specifics, but I will say that there will be some kind of dancing element to his gameplay,” continued Nakayama.

As expected, Arjun is shown to be one of the larger characters in Street Fighter 6. He’s about the size of Marisa.

Despite his size, he’s also fairly mobile. When he’s able to knock opponents down, he’s able to easily move forward with the intention of continuing pressure against them.

Using his aforementioned yogic breathing techniques, he’s able to generate a projectile then kick it in unique attack angles. Opponents won’t be able to simply jump of these type of projectiles if they’re angled correctly.

He’s also armed with a powerful shoulder charge move that takes him nearly the entire screen’s distance. If he connects the attack against a blocking opponent, the screen will shake to indicate that he’s at frame advantage as a reward for precise spacing.

Arjun is also able to generate an air geyser at various distances. After a set amount of time, the geyser will cause the earth to erupt upwards, which is particularly ideal for Okizeme scenarios.

At one point, Arjun is able to hold his breath and walk forward. During this sequence, Arjun is gifted with super armor up until he unleashes a powerful attack in which Arjun exhales a massive gust of wind.

Finally, the “dancing element” that Nakayama was alluding to before can be observed in Arjun’s level 3 super art. Due to the way that Arjun discombobulates the opponent initially, it looks as though they’re being attacked by multiple instances of Arjun as he blasts them with a series of breathing blasts.

Towards the end of the trailer, it was revealed that Arjun is set to be released on October 13, 2026.
