(Falcon Heights, MN) — Minnesota State Fair officials say congressional candidate Matt Little violated rules during his world handshake record attempt. Little hoped to shake 15-thousand hands in eight hours on Saturday, but was stopped less than two hours into the attempt. He said he had shaken about two-thousand hands when officials shut it down. Fair officials say Little did not have the license required to actively solicit or engage with fairgoers. Little is the Democratic nominee for the state’s Second Congressional District and will face Republican state Senator Eric Pratt in November.
