Woman fatally shot in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood
PITTSBURGH —
Pittsburgh police are investigating after a woman was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the city’s Homewood neighborhood on Tuesday evening.
Police responded to the 7200 block of Frankstown Avenue just after 6:30 p.m., following two ShotSpotter alerts that indicated a total of 20 rounds fired, public safety officials said.

The unidentified victim was found on Forest Way, an alley behind Frankstown Avenue, and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
No arrests have been made. The shooting is being investigated by detectives with the police bureau’s Violent Crime Unit.
