On September 7, Huawei unveiled two new variants of the Watch Ultimate 2. While the key specs of the latest wearable models are quite similar to the original, the highlight is the design wrapped in fresh tones and its sports features.
Watch Ultimate 2 is already available in Sky Black, Sea Blue, and Field Green, but Huawei is now bringing Snow White and DESCENTE variants that make it a perfect choice for every type of consumer.
Design
Starting with the Snow White model, it has a purple-white bezel screen with a new nylon woven loop strap. The company says this strap is breathable and hydrophobic.
On the other hand, the DESCENTE co-branded model has a dark grey shade with again a ceramic bezel around the screen. It also uses a dark grey nylon woven strap with a unique sporty appearance.
Features
Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 Sports Editions expand skiing functionalities to six new modes. It now covers outdoor skiing, outdoor snowboarding, indoor skiing, indoor snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and a new ski mountaineering mode.
Ski mountaineering mode: supports importing route files in mainstream formats. During the climbing phase, users can even view the altitude and remaining distance in real time. It auto-records data like speed and altitude during descent time.
New Watch Ultimate 2 models also bring a detection and turn type recognition feature that automatically counts the number of short, medium, long turns and their frequencies. Other features of the new models are the same as the original variant.
The new models have a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED color screen with 466 x 466 pixel resolution, 310 PPI, and 3500 nits peak brightness. It uses a nano-microcrystalline ceramic bezel, which is robust, scratch-resistant, and corrosion-resistant.
It continues to feature 150-meter diving capability and dolphin-inspired Sonar Communication, which utilizes a built-in miniature sonar device that breaks through the limitations of traditional gestures and light signals for communication underwater.

It can automatically identify the current network usage scenario and smartly optimize the antenna signal. Thus, navigation and eSIM calling remain seamless.
Other features include Beidou Satellite Voice messaging, outdoor adventure mode, fall detection, three-way action camera connection, AI health + sports analysis, gesture control, smart car key function, NFC payment, and X-TAP health sensing tech.
Users can perform ECG analysis, micro-health checkups, health summaries, blood oxygen monitoring, relieve stress with Emotional Wellbeing, coronary heart disease research, hypertension risk study, blood sugar health research, and manage sleep health.
Battery – Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 new Snow White color variant can run for 11 days under power-saving mode (light use), 6 days (normal use), and 4 days when AOD is enabled.
Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 new variants are available for pre-order starting today and will debut on the sale stage on 17 September with a price tag of 6999 yuan.
