Messenger File Photo
ST. ALBANS — As part of our ongoing work to digitize our film archives, here is a set of photos taken 50 years ago during this week in September of 1976.
Students are back at school, playing on the monkey bars and enjoying nutritious lunches. Others sit at their desks grinning and making silly faces as a Messenger photographer takes their photo. Do you see any familiar faces?
In other scenes from Franklin County life, the BFA booster club holds up a recruitment sign and athletes get in their last few rounds of golf.
If you or someone you know is featured in one of our photo sets, let us know at the email for this project, archives@samessenger.com, or by calling the office at 802-524-9771, option 3.
