HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN CO. (WOLF) — A Luzerne County man has been sentenced to four to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to 100 felony counts involving child sexual abuse material, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced.

Donald George Long, 68, was sentenced this week after investigators traced cyber-tip information about uploads of child sexual abuse material to his home in Plymouth, according to the Office of Attorney General.

Agents said Long lived alone and used internet service that remained in his deceased mother’s name to access, view and save the material. Authorities said many of the files involved pre-teen children.

Investigators served a search warrant at Long’s home last year and seized electronic devices. The attorney general’s office said Long admitted to viewing and saving the material.

Long will be required to register as a sex offender for 15 years after his release from prison.
