Earlier this week, Nintendo announced a new Zelda-themed Switch 2, Pro Controller and various other items celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the series. Unsurprisingly, many of these items have already sold out in multiple locations around the world.
In an update, Nintendo has now confirmed restocks are on the way…at least in the UK. If you visit Nintendo’s Store page in this location, you’ll see the following message at the top of the page:
Nintendo: “The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Collection is currently sold out. We will announce when stock is replenished via the Nintendo Store app.”
So, you’ll want to keep an eye on the Nintendo Store app for any updates about restocks. At the time of writing, the Zelda Switch 2 bundle, Pro Controller and game bundle featuring an Ocarina of Time pin are all out of stock on the Nintendo Store in this region.
If there are similar notices shared in other locations about restocks, we’ll provide an update. Nintendo’s Store pages for the Zelda 40th Anniversary Collection in the US currently tell fans to “check back soon” for possible restocks.
Nintendo has also noted how the Zelda anniversary hardware is a special edition release, so it won’t be around forever. The initial physical copies of Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 will also include “textured foil cover art”.
