Police in Fort Pierce are investigating a bomb threat at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital.

Just after 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, the Fort Pierce Police Department said it was investigating a bomb threat at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital.
The Police Department announced at 3:36 p.m. that its officers arrived at the hospital and conducted an extensive search of the buildings. No suspicious items or devices were found.
A spokesperson for HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital confirmed to WPBF 25 News on Saturday afternoon that there was a temporary evacuation of visitors and patient care was never impacted.
