CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A Cincinnati-based auction house is auctioning off two Bob Ross paintings.
Caza Sikes, which is located on Madison Road in Oakley, is hosting its September 2026 Fine + Decorative Art Auction. The auction itself includes a wide range of decorative art, fine art, collectibles, furniture, and jewelry.
Included in the auction are two different paintings by Bob Ross.
The first is a wooded landscape with a stream that was painted by Ross in 1987. The painting is signed by Ross and inscribed with “To Jan, a very special friend. Happy Painting. Bob Ross.” Also included with the painting are two photographs featuring Ross in front of the work.
The current bid as of 9:45 p.m. on Monday sits at $24,000 and is estimated to go anywhere from $50,000 to $75,000.
The second painting for auction by Ross is a mountain landscape. Again, this painting was made in 1987 and features the inscription “To Jan, a very special friend. Happy Painting. Bob Ross.” Included with the painting are two photographs that show Ross with the owner of a Dayton supplies shop and studio as well as Ross with the painting.
The current bid as of 9:45 p.m. on Monday sits at $38,000 and is estimated to go anywhere from $50,000 to $75,000.
