Driver facing OUI charge in multivehicle crash on Interstate 93 in Andover, Massachusetts
ANDOVER, Mass. —
A driver is facing several charges, including operating under the influence, in connection with a multivehicle crash on Interstate 93 in Andover, Massachusetts, that slowed the Tuesday morning commute.
The three-vehicle crash happened just after 5 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway just prior to Dascomb Road.

Massachusetts State Police said a driver was moving from one lane to another when they struck a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck, causing a crash. The driver of the vehicle that struck the others then reportedly attempted to flee the crash on foot before being found by patrol units.
The driver was taken into custody and is being charged with property damage, marked lanes violations, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle operating under the influence.
