I-81 lane closed after motorcycle crash sends person to hospital in Franklin County
ANTRIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
Traffic is backed up on Interstate 81 following a motorcycle crash in Franklin County, according to emergency dispatchers.

The motorcycle crashed in the southbound lanes near the Maryland state line in Antrim Township around 10:30 a.m. No other vehicles were involved.

Dispatchers said one person was transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
A stretch of Interstate 81 southbound was temporarily shut down. One lane has since reopened, and traffic is slowly moving through the scene.
A lane remains closed, causing a significant backup in the southbound lanes.
