SAN FRANCISCO (KPTV) – The Portland Fire headed to San Francisco to take on the second-seed Golden State Valkyries on Friday night.
The Fire are coming of a close loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday where they were without three of their starters—Bridget Carleton, Carla Leite, and Megan DiLeo.
As of Friday afternoon, Carleton remains out while DiLeo and Leite are not listed on the injury report.
Meanwhile, the Valkyries, who are aiming for their 30th win of the season and remain in the hunt for first place in the WNBA standings, have listed Gabby Williams and Janelle Salaun as out for Friday’s game due to reconditioning.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Chase Center.
