Police investigate fatal shooting in northwest Albuquerque

The shooting occurred near the Oasis Event Center early Saturday morning. No one is in custody at this time.

An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed Saturday in northwest Albuquerque.

A spokesperson for Albuquerque Police says the shooting happened around 2 a.m. Saturday near the Oasis Event Center on 3700 Ellison Drive NW.

Police say officers arrived at the scene and found a man who had suffered at least one gunshot wound. The victim did not survive.
