Taylor Swift nearly broke the internet around midnight Tuesday. That’s because she teased her newest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

Swift will discuss her 12th album on this Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights.” It’ll mark her first appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast. A teaser has already been shared by the Kelce brothers on Instagram.

Unsurprisingly, this Tuesday’s episode of “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” featured a lengthy conversation about Swift’s upcoming album. NBC host Jenna Bush Hager admit that she wasn’t thrilled with the timing of this announcement.

“You know I’m a Swiftie, but why does she have to drop everything at midnight?” Bush Hager said, via Decider.

Bush Hager’s guest co-host, FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews, quickly replied, “It’s her thing. It’s too late for you.”

While a midnight release is standard for the industry, Bush Hager wants Swift to shake things up and go with a 12 p.m. album drop next time around.

As for Swift’s decision to drop this bombshell on “New Heights,” Bush Hager made it clear that she approves of the move.

“What do you think about the fact that she announced it on his podcast? I think for them to announce it on his podcast confirms everything that all of us Swifties would hope, which is that they’ve got something really great going on,” Bush Hager said.

Does this mean wedding bells are in Kelce and Swift’s future? Not necessarily, but Andrews and Bush Hager are certainly rooting for them.

“They are so fun to be around,” Andrews said. “Everybody already knows his personality. He’s hilarious, he’s super swaggy, he’s so fun. She is hysterical, so witty… I’m so excited for this podcast to drop tomorrow.”
