I-79 crash in South Fayette Township causing long delays
SOUTH FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A crash on Interstate 79 is causing major backups stretching for miles during the Thursday evening rush hour.
The crash happened in South Fayette Township, Allegheny County. A PennDOT traffic camera showed a car on its side in the northbound lanes.

Emergency dispatchers said one person was taken to the hospital.
Northbound traffic is reduced to a single lane as emergency responders remain at the scene.
Backups were extending all the way into Washington County.
