Missing 9-year-old found safe in North Fort Myers after search

Update 10:30 a.m.: Deputies confirm Deakon has been found safe.

Lee County deputies are searching for a missing 9-year-old boy in North Fort Myers and are requesting the public’s help.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, 9-year-old Deakon Levi Stone was last seen traveling on foot in the area of Monte Isola Way in North Fort Myers while wearing a red polo shirt and blue pants.

Deakon is 4’8″, weighs 100 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

LCSO confirmed they have deputies on the ground in the area looking for Deakon.
