With the deadline for compliant season-opening rosters coming up tomorrow, the waiver wire is going to continue to be busy today, as it has been for the rest of this weekend. Waiver-eligible players who are going to be assigned to the AHL need to pass through waivers before they can be sent down, meaning they need to be placed on waivers today to be eligible to be sent down before Monday’s 4 PM CT deadline.
