WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A moose was spotted within West Fargo city limits Monday morning, according to police.
Officers say they are monitoring the situation in coordination with the North Dakota Game and Fish Department.
Authorities say the animal has since moved into a rural area and does not pose a threat to public safety. To help ensure the moose is not disturbed, police are not releasing its exact location.
Residents who see a moose are urged to give it plenty of space, avoid approaching it and contact authorities if they have safety concerns.
