Dennis Haskins, the actor best known for playing Bayside High’s principal on the hit late 80s and early 90s teen sitcom “Saved by the Bell,” has died. He was 75.
Aside from playing the Principal Richard Belding on “Saved by the Bell,” Haskins also appeared in other films and television programs, including “A Million Ways to Die in the West,” “Magnum, P.I.” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
Haskins’ agent, Jay Schachter, announced his death on Monday. He said in a statement the actor “absolutely loved his fans.”
“Everyone loved Mr. Belding and those of us who got to know Dennis, loved him even more,” Schachter said.
