The happy news was revealed in Harris’s forthcoming memoir, And I Will Tell You Mine: Notes from a Life in Progress, according to Vogue. The publication published an excerpt from the book on September 30. Of the major milestone, Bush told the outlet, “When you get to this stage in your life, you begin to unpack what’s yours and what’s always sort of been for everyone else.”

For the big day, Bush and Harris broke tradition, committing to forever in all-black outfits. Bush opted for a sparkly black velvet gown, while Harris sported an oversized suit and a cowboy hat.
In photos shared with Vogue, the two kissed and embraced in a field of greenery. The wedding took place in upstate New York in the summer of 2025. Harris’s two children with Ali Krieger, Sloane and Ocean, were in attendance.

Before news of their nuptials broke, Harris and Bush celebrated a different milestone on September 23. Bush made her red carpet debut with Sloane and Ocean at the A Sense of Home Gala in New York City. The family was all smiles with Bush and Harris coordinating in dark-colored blazers and dress pants.

Bush and Harris began dating in October 2023 after having been in each other’s lives for years. “After being friends for years, and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago,” a source told People at the time. “This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”
Their relationship followed Harris’s divorce from Krieger. Bush, for her part, split with husband Grant Hughes after 13 months of marriage in August 2023.
In June of this year, Harris gushed about her romance with Bush, telling SheKnows, “She checked every box for me and for the kids. I’m lucky to be able to love her.”
