Two-vehicle crash shuts down Lancaster County road

A road is closed in Lancaster County following after two vehicles collided on Thursday, according to emergency dispatchers.

The crash happened at Old Philadelphia Pike and Mill Creek Road in East Lampeter Township around 7 a.m. on Thursday.

Dispatchers said there was reported entrapment. EMS was called to the scene. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

Officials said Old Philadelphia Pike/Route 340 is closed between Lynwood and Eastbrook roads. Drivers are reminded to use caution and to expect delays.

The East Lampeter Township Police Department is investigating.
