RPM International announced that it has completed the previously communicated acquisition of Volteco S.p.A., an Italy-based leading supplier of below-grade waterproofing solutions, for its Tremco Construction Products Group. This strategic acquisition brings a unique and differentiated technology platform to Tremco CPG.
Headquartered in Ponzano Veneto, Italy, Volteco specializes in advanced waterproofing technology and is recognized for its Amphibia™ waterproofing sheet membrane. The company also produces a line of bagged powder goods for patch and repair applications, alongside flexible liquids, mortars, resins and damp-proofing materials. Volteco’s waterproofing solutions have been used in numerous high-profile projects, including the protection of historical landmarks in Venice, the Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan (a venue for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games), the underground tunnel connecting the Abruzzo Regional Citadel to the L’Aquila bus terminal, and Y-40, the world’s deepest thermal pool.
Volteco generated calendar year 2025 net sales of approximately €28 million; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
