KINGSTON, N.Y. — Andre Miller and Austin Hand each fired 7-over 43s for Kingston High, but the Tigers dropped a 230-239 boys golf match to visiting Warwick at the Wiltwyck Golf Club on Thursday, Oct. 1.

Other counting scores for the Tigers (6-3) were shot by Jameson Beesmer (49) and Aiden Torres and Joe Leiching, who each had 52s.

Warwick (8-1) was led by medalist Shaun Kunich (42).

“The course was playing tough due to the rain, which made it long,” Kingston coach Juan Weissenberg said. “But the greens were still rolling fast. We let a few putts get away from us and it led to a close loss.”

Rhinebeck was led by Nico Dentico’s 1-over 37 on the front nine of the par-36 Red Hook Golf Club layout.
