The Minnesota Lynx (27-5) is hellbent on winning a championship. They are on a three-game winning streak without their ace, Napheesa Collier. Overall, the Lynx is the only team not to lose two games in a row this deep into the season.

The addition of two-way dynamo DiJonai Carrington has worked wonders, filling Collier’s void. On the other hand, the New York Liberty (21-12) is also hungry to repeat as champions. It was clear when they signed 2019 Finals MVP, Emma Meesseman.

They are 4-2 since her signing, a record that could have been much worse, considering the team is missing their superstar, Breanna Stewart.

So, which team with the new X Factor comes on top here? Below is my favorite Same Game Parlay and the prediction for the match.

WNBA Best Bets: Lynx vs Liberty Same Game ParlayEmma Meesseman: Points

Meesseman has averaged an outstanding 16.2 points per game in her WNBA return thus far. Her biggest contributions have come during the last two games.

She scored 24 in each of the contests against the LV Aces and LA Sparks. The forward had mostly scored in the 11-14 range before that.

She had just 11 in the last meeting against the Lynx. Lynx center Alanna Smith’s interior defense can do that to you.

At any rate, I expect an improvement from that, and the forward may score at least 16 here.

The Lynx guard is one of the best playmakers in the league. Williams has averaged 6.3 assists per game this season. It is the third-highest mark this season.

The Lynx Floor General has dished 5 or more assists in 14 of the last 15 games. Thus, expecting her to deliver at least 5 helpers is not a stretch.

Williams O 4.5 Assists

Kayla McBride: 3-Pointers

McBride has built upon her last season’s long-range heroics brilliantly. She has nailed 2.7 triples per game, similar to last year. The guard has made 3 or more in six of the last nine games.

But there are instances when she has made none or just 1 from the field in multiple games. This streaky nature makes her a tough inclusion in SGPs, but her volume also suggests handsome returns.

For example, she has nailed 4 and 5 triples against the tight Liberty perimeter defense in the last two outings. At any rate, I think she will make at least 3 here.

WNBA SGP

The safest pick among the lot is Williams’ assist one. The McBride is a tad risky, but frequency suggests positive results. Meanwhile, the Messeman pick may be the riskiest.

The Lynx has the best defense, and they can shut down any elite player. But the Liberty forward has looked comfortable and will adjust after the last game. Overall, the SGP is somewhat moderately risky.

WNBA Best Bets: Lynx vs Liberty Prediction

The Lynx have beaten the Liberty on both occasions thus far. It will be their third meeting in less than four weeks. In all instances, we haven’t seen the coveted Stewart vs Collier PF battle. But it means that the rest of the stars have elevated their games further.

The Lynx will be the slight favorite here, even without Collier, which sums up their depth. However, I see the Liberty avenging one of their first two losses against the last season’s finals rivals.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
