BYU and Utah are both climbing the rankings again.
The Cougars jumped two spots to No. 8 in Sunday’s most recent AP top 25 poll after winning at TCU, while the Utes moved up one spot to No. 12 following a bye.
BYU still stands as the highest-ranked Big 12 team, with Texas Tech (No. 11), Oklahoma State (No. 18) and Houston (No. 22) also representing the conference in the poll. Arizona appeared in the receiving votes section as well.
Notre Dame, BYU’s Oct. 17 opponent in Provo, remains at No. 3 in the rankings.
BYU hosts Iowa State on Friday in Provo, and Utah will play Kansas Saturday in Salt Lake City.
