Right on time, another batch of PS Plus Essential games have been added to Sony’s service, which are yours to claim and keep for as long as you remain a member.
October 2026’s selection includes sim racing, acclaimed multiplayer action, and some unorthodox voxel-based gunplay – an eclectic mix, to say the least.
As a reminder, here’s what’s on offer this month:
As a note, these games are available now in the UK, but may take a few more hours to appear in the US. Sit tight if you’re across the pond.
In addition, remember, you’ll have until 2nd November to claim these games, so don’t forget to add them to your catalogue. You may as well!
Our regularly scheduled poll determined you’re not all that enamoured with this month’s list, with a whopping 58% of you describing the selection as “crap”. Oof, tough crowd.
Of the available games, 10% of you said you wanted to play F1 25 the most, although an enormous 76% of you said you weren’t looking forward to any of them.
I must admit, I’m probably not going to bother with this month’s lineup either, especially when there’s so much else to play on the PS5 right now. I might give F1 25 a little look at some point in the future – maybe.
Anyway, let me know in the comments section below if you’ve downloaded any of these games yet.
