Zach Petrini
The Zach Pietrini Band will bring its full-band blend of indie Americana, roots rock and Midwestern storytelling to Ca d’Zan House Concerts in Cambridge on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, the all-ages evening will begin with an optional potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m. Guests who would like to participate in the potluck are invited to bring a dish to share.
Zach Pietrini’s songwriting has been described as the sonic equivalent of a well-worn denim jacket: familiar, honest and unmistakably Midwestern. Drawing inspiration from artists including Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and David Ramirez, Pietrini writes songs rooted in everyday experience, pairing thoughtful lyrics with a contemporary take on classic American roots music.
Pietrini came up in the Chicago music scene before relocating to Milwaukee, where he developed a reputation for a steel-guitar-driven Americana sound that balances reflection with energy.
His songs explore themes of nostalgia, regret, disappointment and resilience in a way that feels both personal and widely relatable.
Over the years, the Zach Pietrini Band has built a strong following through extensive touring and appearances at festivals including Summerfest, Mile of Music, Bastille Days and SXSW. The band has also opened for Huey Lewis and the News and performed everywhere from large festival stages to intimate house concerts.
That range is part of what makes Pietrini especially well suited to the Ca d’Zan setting. His performances can feel personal and conversational one moment and burst into full-band roots-rock energy the next.
The Cambridge appearance will feature the full band, giving audiences the chance to experience the songs with the drive, dynamics and chemistry that have earned the group recognition as one of Milwaukee’s standout live acts.
Pietrini has been named Best Live Act in Milwaukee by Milwaukee Magazine and has repeatedly been recognized among the city’s leading bands.
His relaxed stage presence, strong songwriting and ability to connect with audiences have made his shows both engaging and memorable.
Guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. A donation of $20 to $30 is suggested. In the event of rain, the concert will move to Bishop Hill Creative Commons.
Presented by Crossroads Cultural Connections, this concert continues the organization’s mission of bringing meaningful, high-quality live music experiences to Henry County and surrounding communities.
