Bachelor Nation was first introduced to Clayton Johnson as one of the men from Season 22 of “The Bachelorette.”
As fans know, the season is currently on pause. In the meantime, the men from Season 22 have been sharing their stories online and went on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
Clayton has previously opened up about being friends with some well-known artists and celebrities, including his past engagement to singer Lana Del Rey.
And now, he has taken to social media to share the “crazy story” of why he owns some of Joe Jonas’ clothing.
In a new video online, Clayton posted a photo of Joe Jonas from his tour right next to him, showing them wearing the exact same shirt.
He said, “Here’s how I ended up with Joe Jonas’ actual tour clothes. I know, this is a crazy story.”
Clayton explained that he was at a flea market in L.A. and saw a vintage booth with a bunch of T-shirts.
“I peek inside to check out the clothes and Joe Jonas is just sitting there all by himself,” he recalled. “Which was so cool because we actually knew each other from working on his music video for ‘Cake by the Ocean’ by DNCE. If you watch it, you’ll see me introduce the video and that’s how we knew each other.”
Clayton continued, noting that Joe is an “awesome guy” and saying he remembered him from working together. He also shared that the singer was selling “a bunch of his clothes from tour and all the proceeds were going to charity.”
“Nobody had realized he was there yet, so I got the first pick. We happened to be the exact same size, so everything fit perfectly,” Clayton said. “About 30 minutes later, people started recognizing him. He got swarmed and had to leave, but not before I got to walk through and pick a bunch of his favorite clothes from tour.”
Clayton showed off the items of clothing he got and people filled the comments with their reactions.
