Summer Warne has revealed her battle with OCD, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
Summer, 24, shared a video of herself dancing on her official TikTok account where she said that growing up, before her diagnosis, she thought she was a “psychopath” because she didn’t know about “intrusive thoughts” and “compulsions”.
OCD is a mental health condition where people can suffer intrusive thoughts and compulsions are often repetitive behaviours.
“Happy OCD awareness month,” her caption on the clip read.
“I convinced myself I was a psychopath until the age of 17, because I had no idea what intrusive thoughts/compulsions were”.
She added in her caption: “Live, laugh, OCD.”
Summer is the daughter of the late Shane Warne and his ex-wife Simone Callahan, and they also shared son Jackson, 27, and daughter Brooke Warne, 29, together.
The late cricketing legend died at the age of 52 in Thailand in 2022, reportedly from a suspected heart attack.
The death sent shockwaves around the world.
In 2024, as she marked the anniversary of her father’s death, Summer shared a touching tribute to her late dad.
“Two years today since you left. Our lives go on without you but nothing is the same,” she wrote on Instagram.
“You were such a light in my life Dad and I would do anything to have you back here with us.
“Words can’t describe how much I miss you, your hugs, your voice and our talks. I love you endlessly. Always and Forever. SKW.”
