“I’m incredibly honored to receive the People’s Choice Award,” Stalheim said. “As an artist, there’s something especially meaningful about having a work connect directly with the people who experience it. Public art becomes part of a community, and knowing that this sculpture resonated with so many people means more to me than I can say. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who voted, supported my work, and continues to make art an important part of our community.”
