NORMAN — Two-plus months stand between Oklahoma men’s basketball and its preseason exhibition against Wisconsin on Oct. 24. But with summer workouts wrapped up and the fall semester just around the corner, the Sooners updated their official roster for the upcoming season.
It’s a new-look group for the program’s fifth season under head coach Porter Moser, who will attempt to lead Oklahoma to a second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance (with eyes set on a deeper postseason run), this time with a roster that features four high-profile transfer additions, four freshman signees and a select group of returning players that includes Mo Wague, Dayton Forsythe, Jadon Jones, Jeff Nwankwo and Kuol Atak.
The Sooners this offseason landed the nation’s No. 11 transfer class, bringing in former five-star forward Derrion Reid from Alabama, former Notre Dame forward Tae Davis, veteran Miami guard Nijel Pack and standout St. Joseph’s point guard Xzayvier Brown. Reid was ranked the No. 34 transfer on the market this offseason, while Davis was No. 64, Pack was No. 39 and Brown was the highest rated of the bunch at No. 30. Along with the highly regarded transfer haul, Oklahoma brought in a 2025 signing class ranked 41st in the nation, headlined by composite four-star prospects Kai Rogers and Alec Blair, both of whom ranked inside the top-100 players in the country.
In all, the Sooners have 15 players rostered for the 2025-26 season. Six of them are freshmen or redshirt freshmen, two are sophomores, one is a junior and the remaining six are seniors or redshirt seniors.
