Staff at Great Parks got quite the surprise Monday when they spotted an emu at Mitchell Memorial Forest.

Turns out, Eddie apparently had enough of farm life over the weekend and pulled off a jailbreak from a neighboring property, then headed straight for the trails.
Staff quickly tracked down Eddie and got the giant bird safely back home.
