SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) – The Sangamon County Mental Health Board hosted a study session in Springfield Thursday.
It was held at the Sangamon South Auditorium on South 9th Street.
The study session allows the community and board members to talk about the priorities for mental health programs in the area.
By statute, the mental health board is charged with reviewing and evaluating community mental health services and facilities for the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, and disabilities.
