LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The iPhone Duo, the first-ever foldable version of the popular mobile device, hits store shelves on Friday, and it’s led to a familiar sight.
A News 3 crew spotted long lines outside the Apple Stores at Town Square Las Vegas and Downtown Summerlin in the early morning hours.
The lines were commonplace in the early days of the iPhone, before presales and online shopping overtook brick-and-mortar retail.
Demand appears to be high for the Duo, however. Apple’s estimated delivery dates slid into late January within minutes of pre-orders, according to Reuters.
The iPhone Duo retails for just under $2,000.
