Best WNBA Bets Today: Saturday, October 24
Jordin Canada Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118)
DraftKings Sportsbook, 1:00 a.m. ET
During the regular season, Jordin Canada averaged 11.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game. In the playoffs, she is playing the best basketball of her career, averaging 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game. She has topped 22.5 PRA in seven of eight playoff games, and considering Atlanta continues to lean on its starters more than any other team in the league, Canada is sure to get plenty of usage again.
Tiffany Hayes Under 18.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-121)
DraftKings Sportsbook, 1:00 a.m. ET
Like Jordin Canada, Tiffany Hayes has elevated her game in the playoffs, but she’s still only averaging about 17.8 PRA through nine games. After being Golden State’s fourth-leading scorer in the regular season, she is trailing only Gabby Williams in postseason points for the Valkyries. However, if you’ve been paying attention all season, you know that no trend is safe with Golden State. Valkyries player props have been frustrating to try to handicap, as they will give eight to ten players significant playing time and vary the usage from game to game. Coming off back-to-back 14 point games (and losses), I project a dip in points while not offering much else statistically. RotoWire’s projection model has her total PRA at about 13 for Game 4.
Atlanta Dream -4.5 (-115) vs. Golden State Valkyries
DraftKings Sportsbook, 1:00 a.m. ET
To put it simply, Golden State can’t score. Atlanta has one of the better defenses in the league, and Golden State doesn’t have the offensive weapons to overcome it. Sixth Player of the Year award winner Janelle Salaun is the Valkyries’ best shooter, but her defensive deficiencies have led the coaching staff to limit her to 12 minutes or fewer in each of the past seven games. On the other side, Atlanta has four All-Star quality players who can all score and facilitate on offense. Atlanta has scored at least 82 points in every home game this year, and right now Golden State doesn’t look capable of scoring 75 or more.
