After more than 14 hours in the air and three days in Scotland, Penn’s golfers have a host of new memories.

Both the men’s and women’s teams brought six golfers across the pond to the University of St. Andrews for Penn’s debut at the prestigious St. Andrews Links Collegiate. The tournament was split into two: stroke play on the Jubilee Course first, followed by match play on the famed Old Course. Both the men’s and women’s sides finished fourth in stroke play before going their separate ways to face Washington in match play. The women took down Washington, 4-2, to finish third, while the men fell, 5-1, to finish fourth.

“I am so proud of the team,” coach Mark Anderson told Penn Athletics. “They played well this week and put up some solid scores. It was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
