MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Grizzlies guard Ty Jerome was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for the start of the 2026-27 NBA season.
It’s Jerome’s first time winning the award, following a blistering start to the season that began with a career-high 45 points on opening night against Utah.
He followed that up with 28 points at Golden State and another 31 in a win at Sacramento. He scored at least 20 points in the second half of each game.
His performance helped lead the Grizzlies to their first 3-0 start since 2017.
Jerome leads the league with 34.7 points per game while shooting a lights-out 56.4% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range.
