Jennifer Lawrence knows a thing or two about makeovers.
The Oscar winner, 36, opened up about her past and future cosmetic work in a new cover story for The Cut published Tuesday, noting she’s had a breast augmentation and plans to get a facelift someday.
“I want to be a sexy mom,” the mother of two told the outlet. “At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s—t together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my s—t together.”

The comments come as Lawrence officially enters the beauty business with Mes, a three-product hair care line launching today.
Lawrence created the brand with Jasmina Aganovic, an MIT-trained chemical biological engineer and beauty entrepreneur whose 2023 TED Talk caught the actress’ attention. The debut lineup consists of a repair mask ($52), a restyling serum ($44) and a volumizing mist ($34) packaged in bottles inspired by terracotta vases.
The venture has been years in the making for the “Die My Love” star, who calls herself a “hair girl” and spent her early career at the mercy of stylists.
“When you are a new and upcoming actress, you can’t be like, ‘Don’t put that on my hair,’” she told The Cut. “You sit in the chair and you say ‘Thank you’ and you shut your mouth.”
During an “X-Men” screen test, “they dyed my hair red, brown, black, and then platinum blond in the same day,” she told Nylon.

By the time she finished the second “Hunger Games” film, her hair was so damaged that she cut it into a pixie. She described the chop to InStyle as “my tiny little rebellion.”
Lawrence has been frank about her beauty choices over the years. Last October, she told the New Yorker she planned to get a breast augmentation after welcoming her second child with husband Cooke Maroney.
“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” she said at the time. “Second one, nothing bounced back.”
More recently, the “Silver Linings Playbook” star shared with Vogue that she gets “baby Botox” and has her eye on one procedure she’s unlikely to try.
“I would love to have a buccal fat removal,” she said. “I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.”
