The Cincinnati Tennis Foundation is set to break ground Wednesday on the First Serve Tennis and Education Center on Tennessee Ave.

The goal is to bring accessible sports, academic support and mentoring to one year-round campus.

The foundation says cost, transportation and access keep many kids out of organized sports.

The $10 million center will have tennis and pickleball courts, classrooms and fully accessible amenities.

It’s expected to be complete by fall 2027.
